Homarat Al-Guyla is a mythical creature from Arabian folklore that has the torso of an old woman and the lower body of a donkey. According to lore, she lures children to desolate areas in the daytime, particularly when the weather is hot and while parents are taking an afternoon nap, and devours them.
Homarat Al-Guyla is often used as a cautionary figure in folklore to warn children about the dangers of wandering into the unknown or venturing into forbidden places. In some versions of the story, she has the ability to to turn into a lizard, or she is accompanied by three black dogs.
